The Bureau has hosted an open Thanksgiving meal for Washington County residents since 1974. Each year at the Bethany Church in Montpelier, hundreds of community members sit down together for a full-course turkey dinner and over 100 home-bound residents receive a personally delivered meal. Year after year, hundreds of local businesses, community members, and Bureau staff donate food and their time to making the dinner a success.
